How 'M' Came To Be

Long, long ago…ok, not that long ago…in 1989…a partnership was forged between two dedicated, driven individuals. This partnership resulted in the creation of Metric Consultancy Ltd. This little organization has now carved out a niche for itself in the world of consultancy and value added research and has evolved into a global phenomenon as Metric Global.

While attending to a range of clients, catering to their diverse set of assignments and accumulating a WHOLE lot of wisdom in the process, Metric realized that we could offer our clients an even more comprehensive package by addressing their branding and online promotion needs.

They say necessity is the mother of invention. And by that logic, Studio M was 'mothered' by the need to give MORE to YOU, as a client, and was fathered by 21yrs of cumulative experience and know-how.

Studio M is a team of young, hard working, creative individuals who are here to ensure that we resolve your assorted branding issues with unique, interesting, practical and cost effective inputs.

Philosophy

Studio M's 'philosophy' is one single cohesive umbrella formed by varied schools of thoughts. Basically, it consists of a whole bunch of ideologies, thought processes and even single words that are important and integral to the functioning of Studio M and its team. This variation (and sometimes even absolute contradiction!) that each team member brings is what leads to new ideas, fresh thinking and the creation of effective game plans.

But the long and short of it is that we work hard, we play harder but we give our 100% to YOU and your products.

People

Creative brains when combined with the analytical ones serve you with the best product. Studio-M is made up of such a vibrant team of young people who retain their individual talents and work to achieve perfection. Here’s a sneak-peak into the personalities.

Abhijit

Earning money that can make people around him happy is Abhijit’s idea of a life well lived. Being a programmer by profession, he likes to relax his mind every now and then with a small game of chess.

Ganesh

Ganesh , the jack of all trades has mastered concept arts and caricature making. The only partner this calm, extrovert animator needs while working is the mesmerizing music of flute.

Girish

Girish is a pakka Indian at heart. He is someone who loves everything about India. This fun-loving software developer enjoys traveling and interacting with people. With Abraham Lincoln and Che Guevara toping his list of inspirational people, Girish wants to join politics some day.

Madhuri

Sitting in a rocking chair in the balcony with a cuppa coffee and a P.L. Deshpande novel as company is Madhuri’s idea of spending a Sunday. Apart from developing softwares, she likes to treat herself with mouth watering food every now and then.

Makarand

The hard working, dedicated animator Makarand can lay a hand or two on Tabla as well. By following the mantra “work is worship”, he wants to prove his caliber to the world.

Miheer

Someone who knows something about everything, someone who has his own definition of everything; outgoing, vivacious, passionate- this is just a portion of the entity (a tip of the iceberg) called Miheer Ameeta Shrinivas.

With the idea of launching his own web design company and many more things as a teenager, he set out to explore the something beyond the horizon. The curiosity, the thirst for knowledge urged him to start working at an early age. Having gained experience from different places, he has now become the jack of all trades and even the master of some

From Raga to Rock, from Hussain to Picasso, he admires every form of Art.

Mahatma Gandhi and Che Guevara are people who have inspired him. Once you get to know him better, you won’t be able to deny the fact that even he can influence life with his ideals.

A scale obsessed workaholic, opening 5000 schools and a company to build rural housing, top his list of things to be done in life. On being asked if he has any regrets in life he quotes “There are times in life when you can only do things once.”

Milind

His mother means the world to him. Milind nurtures an undying passion for guitar. This hard working and determined music composer aims at ruling many hearts someday.

Neeta

Neeta perfectly defines the term “girl next door”. She cries while watching family dramas and cartoons make her giggle. Having mastered the art of developing androids she now aims at becoming the kitchen queen.

Neha

She wants to sit in a hot air balloon up in the sky and read a novel. Loves to play with words and desires to become a bestselling writer, such is Neha, cool yet simple. The Alchemist inspires the writer girl. So the next time she talks to you about omens, don’t be surprised.

Prasad

With family connected to arts and silver work, designing flows in his blood. Apart from being a passionate graphic designer, Prasad likes to surf the net and keep himself updated.

Rahul

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is the thought that keeps him going in life. Everything in life interests Rahul. Right from bungee-jumping to under water diving, this creative animator wants to try whatever comes across.

Rebecca

The soft spoken, nature lover Rebecca sheds all her inhibitions when it comes to designing characters and baking cakes. This die-hard Arsenal supporter dreams of being a gospel music singer someday.

Ronnie

Ronnie a.k.a “Dr. Psyntist” is the bindaas banda of Studio M. Making people groove to the tunes of 'Psy'chedelic Trance, this Sound Designer wants to be a part of Portugal’s famous Boom-Fest as a Psy Artist. Deep dark forest trails and the chant of HARI OM give him peace of mind.

Roshan

Unpredictable and finding the meaning of his existence-such is Roshan, the restless cinematographer. Every frame he captures creates a new perspective of the world that we live in.

Sambhaji

Sambhaji, the simpleton finds delight in preparing mouth-watering delicacies for his friends. Table tennis and chess are his favorite past times. His love for web development is displayed from the very fact that Sundays don’t exist on his calendar.

Samruddha

He who has no worries, no regrets in life is Samruddha. He believes in living life to the lees. Seventy- two consecutive hours spent with eyes locked on the screen while playing games stand as a testimony to the undying passion that he nurtures for gaming.

Sheena

With the chirpiness of a bird, colors of a butterfly and ambitions soaring high, Sheena is bursting with life. Being the female Vijay Mallya and enjoying the limitless luxuries in life is just one of her many dreams! This confident creative writer surely has a long way to go.

Shyam

Girls, politics and cricket don’t make it to his favorite list but he can spend hours with Bagheera and Sherkhan. Are you amazed, amused or confused ?? Being an artist, Shyam’s never ending yearn for art comes to a halt only to be pleasured by a small game of volley-ball.

Sushant

Living on the notion of IMPOSSIBLE being POSSIBLE is something that comes to Sushant naturally. Free-spirited, curious and workaholic cinematographer are the words that best describe him. Mr. Dependable is always there when you need him.

Vishwajit

A sharp shooter with a sharp mind is what describes Vishwajeet the best. A silver medal in shooting and his love for mathematics are his biggest assets. Apart from trekking, swimming and valley crossing, this programmer enjoys the company of friends.

Shrikrishna

This wannabe animation director is an introvert who believes in simple living and high thinking. He loves observing people and things around him, but with a different angle, i.e., for him everything is 2D rather than 3D.

Yogesh

“Faces are often deceiving”, the saying suits Yogesh in the most apt manner. Don’t get carried away by his looks because he is naughty and mischievous. Outdoor games and soft music are the things this tech android developer loves to indulge in.

Our Guardian Angels

There are certain people who make their presence felt without actually being physically present. These are the people who leave long lasting impressions on the way you think and act. They are the ones who help you grow and help overcome your weaknesses. They are your guiding lights, your guardian angels.

Dr. Ameeta Deshmukh

She is the leader, builder of the organization. Her love of art is only beaten by her love to create and motivate. She is the shiniest of our angels with a unique sense of style that reflects her funky personality. She’s done enough stuff to fill 4 lives – right from being a serial entrepreneur not only in the corporate field but also by starting and sustaining women’s empowerment movements across Maharashtra. Currently, her interests are leading her to not only being the foremost management consultant in the corporate world but also towards starting a museum for sarees from across India.

Dr. Anand Karandikar

He is the chairman. As an intellectual, an Educator and debater par excellence, he is a force to reckon with. His love for debate can only be matched with his love for food and cooking. Give him good food and interesting conversation, and he’s sure to give away his mantras for success.

Shrinivas Dharmadhikari

As an international marketeer, he loves to travel across the globe (for business and pleasure). He can be touted as a visionary because he anticipated the power of the Internet…10 years ago!…to forge one of the few International brands in international Market Research from India! His foresight and the gyan accumulated through his extensive journeys, truly gives him the aura of an ‘Old Soul’. But even with all the ‘wisdom’ his supremely witty sense of humor has been left unaffected.

Together, as a team, the three of them have created and shaped Metric into an Independent Global yet Professional Organization spanning 35 states within India and 52 countries around the world. Together they have managed to file one of the first Indian Patents in Business Process for their work in measuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. And together, they still manage to guide and mentor all those who come in contact with them, offering their expertise and knowledge to all. Including Us.
